The MM40 model of the Multi-Max is equipped with a 2.5-amp motor, making it more powerful than prior models of Dremel’s oscillating tools and immensely improving optimal performance. This Multi-Max can make faster, more precise cuts in a vast range of materials thanks to its variable-speed capability (10,000 to 21,000 oscillations per minute). A separate on/off switch and speed control maintain speed settings for ease of use and consistently ideal speed settings; the soft-start feature diminishes sudden starts and affords users a feeling of control as the tool ramps up to the preferred speed.
